Life is about to become more hectic around here..

Its baseball and softball season....

Spencer got asked to be on a traveling baseball team and he is pretty excited!

He will be playing in Deep East Texas baseball this year. He has the same coach as last year in league ball but he has decided to take the boys and travel this year!

Hannah will be playing league softball with 12 and under girls! She loves softball and is eager to get out there and play again...

I am going to try and blog on a regular basis but with work, school and now ball, I cant make any promises!

Two weeks ago I was trying to rearrange my living room and ended up dropping my computer tower on my foot. I watched it for a few hours and put ice on it. The swelling just got worse and the pain was bad. I went to emergency room and they said it was just a bad bruise and was just swollen. The next day it was worse and really purple. Next dr said it was to swollen to for sure see a break but he figured it was fractured, told me to have it re rayed in a week. So yesterday I went back to Doctor and he said my second toe is broke. All the swelling in my foot is down but my toe is still swollen and hurts really bad. So all they can do is buddy tape it. I gotta go back in two weeks for another xray!
So for now I have to just take it easy and keep it taped. It really hurts :(

Its day 3 of the wildfires in Linden Texas..

It seems just as they get one contained another one sparks. They are waiting for air people to come in from Greenville Texas, Once they get there then they are going to start dropping water in hopes that the fires can be put out!

We are still praying for rain and praying for all the men and women out there fighting this horrible fire. They are out there risking there life..

Continue to pray for us please!!!!!

My heart is breaking......

My heart is breaking for my friends and family of my hometown... I am proud to say I grew up in the smallest town ever, Linden Texas.. This past week has been horrible here.. I now live about ten miles from Linden..

My hometown is burning up from wildfires. It has already burnt up over 29,000 acres of land, structures and homes..

So many families have been evacuated, its very sad. It breaks my heart knowing that my hometown is going through all of this.

Our firefighters are fighting this fire day and night. Most are getting no rest at all.. I wish there was something more I could do but I did donate some supplies and that makes me feel a lil better.

WE NEED RAIN... We have needed rain for the last three months but we really NEED it now..

Cass County ( the county in Linden) has declared the county a natural disaster and are calling in bigger help then what we have now.

All we can do is pray, Pray for our firefighters, our Police and the rest of the people out there defending this fire..

Today was the first day of school..

Michael started 8th grade,

Hannah started 6th grade,

and Spencer started 3rd grade....

They all had a great day......

My oldest Kelsey Jo started school last week. She is in her Junior year of HS!

Opening Day

Today was the MLB opening day and it was also Opening day for our Baseball and Softball games. We are having our first of the year tournament. Spencer had his very first game tonight. He played a team against the Padres ( just happens to be his cousins team). Spencer did awesome, I am so proud of him. He is the catcher and almost caught two foul balls. He also batted twice and made it to second both times.. Its such a fun age group to watch play. I didn't get to many pictures, I was to busy cheering them on. I will try and get more pictures tomorrow night!

They ended up winning 14-2.. WTG Rays!!!

We play again tomorrow and if (WHEN) we win tomorrow, we will play again Saturday! Its a double elimination so we have at least two more games to play.. The tournament will be all day Saturday for the rest of the games!

I am hoping I get to watch him play some Saturday but Hannah also has 4 games Saturday to and I am assistant coach so I have to be there for her games. Thankfully Spencer's Nana and Aunt will be there to cheer him on!!

Carrots, Eggs, & Coffee!

A carrot, an egg, and a cup of coffee..You will never look at a cup of

coffee the same way again.

A young woman went to her mother and told her about her life and how

things were so hard for her. She did not know how she was going to make

it and wanted to give up, She was tired of fighting and struggling. It

seemed as one problem was solved, a new one arose.

Her mother took her to the kitchen. She filled three pots with water and

placed each on a high fire. Soon the pots came to boil. In the first she

placed carrots, in the second she placed eggs, and in the last she

placed ground coffee beans. She let them sit and boil; without saying a

word.

In about twenty minutes she turned off the burners. She fished the

carrots out and placed them in a bowl. She pulled the eggs out and

placed them in a bowl. Then she ladled the coffee out and placed it in a

bowl. Turning to her daughter, she asked, ' Tell me what you see.'

'Carrots, eggs, and coffee,' she replied.

Her mother brought her closer and asked her to feel the carrots. She did

and noted that they were soft. The mother then asked the daughter to

take an egg and break it. After pulling off the shell, she observed the

hard boiled egg.

Finally, the mother asked the daughter to sip the coffee. The daughter

smiled as she tasted its rich aroma. The daughter then asked, 'What does

it mean, mother?'

Her mother explained that each of these objects had faced the same

adversity: boiling water. Each reacted differently. The carrot went in

strong, hard, and unrelenting. However, after being subjected to the

boiling water, it softened and became weak. The egg had been fragile.

Its thin outer shell had protected its liquid interior, but after

sitting through the boiling water, its inside became hardened. The

ground coffee beans were unique, however.. After they were in the

boiling water, they had changed the water.

'Which are you?' she asked her daughter. 'When adversity knocks on your

door, how do you respond? Are you a carrot, an egg or a coffee bean?

Think of this: Which am I? Am I the carrot that seems strong, but with

pain and adversity do I wilt and become soft and lose my strength?

Am I the egg that starts with a malleable heart, but changes with the

heat? Did I have a fluid spirit, but after a death, a breakup, a

financial hardship or some other trial, have I become hardened and

stiff? Does my shell look the same, but on the inside am I bitter and

tough with a stiff spirit and hardened heart?

Or am I like the coffee bean? The bean actually changes the hot water,

the very circumstance that brings the pain. When the water gets hot, it

releases the fragrance and flavor. If you are like the bean, when things

are at their worst, you get better and change the situation around you.

When the hour is the darkest and trials are their greatest do you

elevate yourself to another level? How do you handle adversity? Are you

a carrot, an egg or a coffee bean?

May you have enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trials to make

you strong, enough sorrow to keep you human and enough hope to make you

happy.

The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything;

they just make the most of everything that comes along their way. The

brightest future will always be based on a forgotten past; you can't go

forward in life until you let go of your past failures and heartaches.

When you were born, you were crying and everyone around you was smiling.

Live your life so at the end, you're the one who is smiling and everyone

around you is crying.

Its that time of year again and I love it.. Its softball/baseball time... Hannah has already had 2 practices. She is doing well with her pitching, I am so proud of her... Fast pitch is not the easiest thing to do. Her team name is Double Trouble, Its so fitting for a bunch of eleven year olds.. Its hard to believe this is her 6th year playing.. Her positions are pitching, first base, short stop and catcher. She tells everyone that she will go to college playing softball.. That's my girl!!

Spencer has his first team meeting tomorrow, Its more for the parents to say hi and meet everyone, He is so eager to practice.. This is his second year playing..

We are going to be a very busy crew between ball and Michael running track...

I wouldn't have it any other way!

Its the game I don't like playing... Last week I went to the dentist for a toothache. I ended up having a broke tooth that was in need of being pulled. During my visit, my dentist found a lil mass on the back of my gums. Then he said something no one likes to hear, we need to do a biopsy and make sure its not cancer! Holy cow I freaked out.. Cancer? Oral Cancer? So of course the first thing I did was google oral cancer. Don't ask me why, I guess to torture myself until we find out! Of course I came up with every symptom they listed, I know its all in my head but it was something I couldn't stop researching, Finally Jen threatened to take my phone from me. I know the chances are low, I don't smoke which is the main cause of oral cancer.. But ya know leave it to me to get cancer caused by something I don't even do.

Today I had my tooth pulled and I had the biopsy done! The procedure went well, thanks to my new friend laughing gas.. hehe

I will get the results of my biopsy in a week or so. So for the next week I am playing the waiting game. The game where the worse is in my head, thinking what if?

So I am going to try and do as much as possible to keep my mind off of everything!

But if you believe in prayer, would you please say a lil prayer for me...

Until then we wait.....

I am proud to say that all my kids have made the honor roll for the second

nine weeks.

Michael made straight A's, he's in 3 honors classes and

in those 3 classes he made 100's..

Hannah and Spencer both made all A's and one B..

Hannah made a C last nine weeks in Social Studies and this

nine weeks she made a 100.. Spencer is my lil speller, He always

makes 100's in spelling...

Oh dear life, when will we get a break? This past week had been a tad hectic.. On Sunday my best friend Joseph was driving my car to walmart..He didn't see a car coming and pulled out.. Thankfully he was fine, just some soreness and three staples in his noggin... Our car on other hand us totaled.. I am not gonna lie, at first I was mad. Our car is only means of transportation.. But my car is just an object and can be replaced.. My best friend on the other hand can never be replaced.. I am so very thankful he didnt get hurt..
A car is just that,a car... A best friend is FOREVER!

Kids are doing great in school, Michael is in all honor classes.. Hannah just had a science fair project, she made a 100. Spencer has finally came out of his shell, he used to be so shy, I am so glad that he's finally coming around.. Kelsey's enjoying her sophomore year in high school. She's in theatre, and loves it.. Hard to believe that my first born child will be 16 in April..

I cant believe I am a mom to a teen boy... ( this was supposed to be written Friday but we had such a busy weekend) 13 years ago, I gave birth to my second child, my first son.. I was so excited to be a mom to my first boy.. Michael is my gifted child, He excels in anything and everything he does. I am very proud of him.. He has grown into a awesome young man. He is always there for his brother and sister.. I had a very emotional time with Michael turning 13, I don't know why, I just wish sometimes my kids could stay small forever.. But they have to grow up....

We took Michael to the mall shopping for his birthday and then he met up with some friends and hung out with them. Then he spent the night with them and went to the football game.. He had a great weekend and I am happy for him.. So now lets see what the teen years bring us...

We have given up door to door and just go to the churches Trunk or Treat... I have been suffering with kidney stones for the last 3 weeks. I got my first kidney stone when I was 19 and it seems like they just like my body... I went to the Doctor 2 weeks ago, They told me I had 4 kidney stones, not much they can do but keep me on pain meds and drink lots of water. They did say they were non destructible ( meaning I shouldn't have a problem passing them) I have passed 3 of them and I have one stubborn one left. My last CT showed that its passed to my bladder.. So now we play the waiting game...

I would never wish this pain on anyone.. All I can do is drink drink drink and keep taking my pain meds around the clock. I am hoping that it passes really soon..

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month... I have 2 Aunts on my dads side of the family that are Breast Cancer Survivors.. They are the first out of my family to have breast cancer. Its something that hasn't hit home until recently, I have never met my real dad and the relationship with his side of the family has gone down hill in the last 6 years. I have met all my aunts, cousins and grandparents. This past year I got in touch with my aunts again. I was saddened to hear that CANCER had hit my family. I am thankful that I can say they are survivors. Now its something that I will focus more on.. I will research more, I will walk for breast cancer more, I will make sure I know everything there is to know.. I am proud to say that I have 2 awesome aunts, Phyllis and Alena that have survived breast cancer! My post today is dedicated to yall..

I have took a break from blogging due to my lovely troll I had leaving ugly comments on my post.. I don't know why I took it personal but I did.. I usually don't care what people say about me but when they target my parenting it hits to close to home.. I think of myself as an awesome parent. I really have the most well mannered children out there.. I get told this all the time.. My kids always say yes ma'am and no ma'am etc...

My kids know that struggling is a part of life and everything doesn't get handed to them. I think by raising them this way, that it makes me a good mom.. I don't know why I let a coward get to me. I mean really if you have such hateful things to say then why do it unknown? Why not use your real name??

So from this point on I am not going to worry about what anyone thinks of me. I am going to continue to raise my children the way I do, think the things I think.. I will be me, cause in life that's all I can be =)

Today I gave birth to my 4th child and my second son. Its hard to

believe that Spencer is 8, my baby is 8.. WOW!!

Today, I gave birth to my 3rd child and my 2nd daughter. Its hard to believe that its been 11 years since my Hannah was born... It was a very long day but short labor.. Hannah was a lil stubborn and was 11 days late.. She was comfy in mommy's belly.. I was at the hospital for 7 hours for them to tell me ma'am you are not progressing and should just go home.. They sent me home slightly contracting but dilated 0.. I was angry.. Was told to take a tyl pm and just got to sleep! I went home took the tyl pm and sat on the toilet for an hour.. Next thing I know, I was in horrible pain... I was yelling at kids dad to take me to hospital and he was like Kristal, you are not in labor we were just at hospital.. I was mad and in serious pain.. Finally I told him either he takes me or i am calling cab.. So we get to hospital and the lady was like, didn't we just send you home? Uhmm yeah but still lol... They put me in a room with another lady ( who sadly was losing her baby ), they didn't believe i was in labor so they were just putting me in there to check me.. Little did they know that when they checked me I was gonna be 9 cm. I was rushed to my own room and was told no epi or pain meds.. WHAT??? I was scared to death.. I didn't know if i could manage a natural childbirth.. But to my surprise, I did... At 4am my daughter was born... weighing in 8 pounds 9 oz.. Today she is a lovely young lady and I am so proud to call her my daughter!

35, so much closer to 40.. But now I know its just another year, but I am determined

I know this is a touchy subject and that we all parent in different ways. I breastfeed and formula fed my babies, I used cloth diapers and sposies. I don't spank but do use time out.. We all parent in our own ways..

But as parents we all do the one thing that is the same, we make sure that before anything else in our life, we take care of our children.
I cant stand these moms out there that put their life before their children. The ones that party every single night and rather by cigarettes and liquor before they buy food for their children.. It really just makes me want to go and slap these moms. I put NOTHING before my children, for example I was just given money for my birthday and I used it on my children.. I as a single mom make sure that my kids have everything they need, maybe not everything they want but for sure everything they need.
My kids will not go without while I have what I want...
Why are these moms just caring about themselves and not their children? It makes me angry.. VERY ANGRY!
That's my little vent of the evening.. Hopefully I don't offend anyone out there... and If I do, this is my blog =)

Life has been a roller coaster for me in the last few months.. But for now its calmed down a lot. Kids are enrolled in school, I officially have a 10th grader, 7th grader, 5th grader and 2nd grader..

They all love their school and have made tons of new friends already.. I thought the move to Michigan might take them a minute to adjust but they are doing great! Hannah took it upon herself to run for Student Council the first week of school, her teacher was so proud of her considering she was new and the kids didn't know her. Sadly she didn't make it but she was okay with it.. I cant believe my Hannah is in her last year of Elementary school.. Where has time gone.??.

Its almost my birthday, sigh, I will be 35... but I will leave that for another day....

Now that the last 2 weeks have calmed down, I have more energy to prepare for the next busy 3 months... We have 2 birthdays in Oct, one in Nov then Christmas...

So by January I will be ready for a vacation =)

All my life I have never had to worry or deal with Poison Ivy, none of my kids were allergic, well that's what I thought.. Poor Hannah is highly allergic to PI... She got it on 4th of July. Jennifer and My friend Lynsie also got it that day! Their cases are mild compared to Hannah's. I took her to the Dr last week, gave her a shot of steroids and an oral dose to take at home.. I have been putting ointment on her and keeping her on benadryl around the clock... Today her PI got worse, she was saying it was itching and hurting.. I decided it was time to go back to Dr, They gave her another stronger shot.. She was such a trooper, you can tell she wanted to cry but she didn't! Then they wrote her another dose of steroids but this time at an adult level. She is borderline children's meds and adults meds they said... Thankfully this one is on the 4 dollar list at walmart... Their insurance isn't covering their meds right now, so the cheaper the better... Its one am and she is finally asleep, I am hoping these meds help this time.. If not then she will be going back for five days straight to get a shot once a day... Please please please work......
Plus Hannah has her end of the year softball tourney this weekend.. She wants to play so badly... Please keep her in your thoughts....

I talked Michael ( my 12 year old) into going to Texas for the summer with my mom and grandparents. My grandparents came down for my cousins graduation. Hannah and Spencer play ball and had something to keep them busy during the summer and I didn't want Michael bored. I figured he would have so much fun there, boy was I wrong.. He left on June 2 and now its July 12, he wants to come home so badly but our car will not make it there. My family was going to bring him home, that was the plan but now no one can. So here I am stressed that my son is calling me crying wanting to come home! I have no idea what to do. We were gonna meet half way in the beginning but now we have to go all the way, or my mom can meet half way but I gotta send her money.. I guess she forgot all the stuff that had orig happened with our money situation... I barely have the money to go half way, I sure the heck don't have the money to go all the way ( if I find a car) or send them money to meet half way.. I hate this... I don't sleep at night, when he calls I let him talk to Jen more, cuz it just hurts my heart to hear him cry... I wish I had the money just to fly him home but I don't.. I am at a lost of what to do, He has to be here by the 21 cuz his dad is coming to get them for a week. then the week after that school starts. This will be the last summer that anyone of my kids will ever go anywhere...
I am just so angry with my family, if it was my sister they would be here in a heart beat! whats sad is last year when my sis had her baby, my other niece went home with my mom to Texas for 2 weeks.. When they brought her home they called me asking me could I meet half way, of course I never say NO, sooo we drove 3 hrs and got her... It just makes me mad that no one will do the same for me.. I always get told NO! It makes me so angry! All I wanna do is bring my home sick son home.. How would all these people telling me No feel if their child was homesick somewhere and crying to come home =(

Two years ago God received a precious Angel.. Hannah's friend from her softball team passed away at a very early age. They were happy 8 year olds, Hannah loved Abbie so much, they were best friends! The baseball/softball association has been raising money to build a playground at the ball parks in memory of Miss Abbie. Last week we played Hannahs old team and seen these shirts, I spent my only 5 dollars on her shirt. It may have not been logical but in my heart it was!the cost of the shirt goes to the memorial playground. We will always remember Abbie Swoop. As Hannah always says, they will be friends forever...

I am so proud of Hannah and Spencer. Yesterday they had a dentist appointment to get teeth pulled! Hannah had an adult tooth coming in and a baby tooth that would not come out! Spencer had fractured the root of his baby tooth(by playing on the bed) and it had caused an infection in his gums. They both took the needle with the sleepy juice so much better than I do! No tears shed at all, well not by them that is! I cried, I don't know why but I did! so in case you didn't know it, my kids rock:)

I have a really sad face today, Michael is still in Texas visiting my family and I miss him so very much! My kids are with me all the time. They see their dad once a year and its only for a week! We don't do the weekend thing, so they are always with me.. I love it, I am the mom who says, I cant wait for a lil break! Michael has been gone since June 2 and I am so ready for him to come home! 2 weeks is way to long for my child to be gone from me! I don't like sharing them!!! I am so happy that they are always with me, Yes I am weird....

Michael will be home hopefully 2nd week of July, he is starting to get home sick but right now our car isn't reliable enough to go get him!

So thank goodness for cell phones and facebook!!!!!

I can't stand this feeling

My anxiety has gotten really bad lately. I get this feeling of tightness in my chest and I feel like I can't breath! I have so many fears and when I get close to these said fears I just clam up and either close my eyes or run out of the room I was in at the time! I never had anxiety problems til I found my xhubby cheating 5 yrs ago! Right now I am sitting outside on the swing blogging just trying to focus on something other than my anxiety. Its not working:( I am on antidepressant and hoping they will work. If not I guess I will have to go back the dr. I hate being on meds but I can't stand this feeling either:(

The Army's Birthday! I am thankful for all of our soldiers out there and

their families. I was an Army wife for 10 years, I went through 3 deployments, 4 duty stations, and everything else that comes with the job of an Army wife.... I may not be an army wife anymore but the Army will still hold a part in my life.. My kids dad is in the Army and has been now for 16 years! My kids and I are very proud of him.. ( even if our marriage ended on bad terms, we are now really good friends) So from my children and I, Happy Birthday to the Army....

They say that God doesn't give you more than you can handle, well I do believe he is testing me this week! Just when I think one thing is going to go good in our life, BOOOOM that big black cloud comes over our head again! Thankfully I have Jen, She is my rock. I know with her love and Gods trust we can get through this.. I think in the last 4 years we have seen more bad than we needed too. All I want is to be stress free for at least 2 days! I am not asking for a month or even forever. Just a few days!
All I can do is Pray that life will get easier for us and be thankful for the awesome lil family that Jen and I have with our kids!

If you pray, please make sure to say a lil one for us... Hoping that it all gets better soon!

When I first heard if silly bands, I thought no way will I buy these things! I had no idea what the big hype was all about! Hannah's best friend and my niece Lexi share a birthday and the only thing they requested were silly bands!! I caved and bought them some.. The next day we all head to the mall, did some shopping and officially jumped on the ban wagon! Spencer and Hannah both own 72 silly bands.. Yes its a boy and girl thing!!! But I have to admit, I had fun looking at all the different kinds. We have animals, rock band, glitzy,dress up,glow in dark,smelly ones,fruits and a few more!!! As Spencer said to me after buying them" mommy you are the coolest total mommie" (I think he was a lil confused)! So yay for being the coolest total mommie;)

Day at the lake...

We woke up this morning and decided to go up to Lake Glendale with my sister and her family! Its about 25 minutes away in Illinois... We had so much fun, my sis and I actually got along. It was really nice... We are now home, burnt to a crisp( yes used sunscreen) and very sleepy..... This was my nieces first time at the lake!!! She is so cute! I love summer :).

I have to admit, I have AWESOME children! I am so super blessed to be their mommy. Today was our last day of school... Kelsey Jo is entering her 2nd year in high school, Michael will be entering his second year of middle school, Hannah will be entering her last year of elementary school( not ready for this) and my baby will be in 2nd grade... Where did my babies go?? It seems like yesterday I was walking each of them to kindergarten and crying as I walk away.. Still to this day I cried. I cried as I picked them up from school today, as I hugged their teachers and thanked them for being a great inspiration in their lives. I cried with the thought that my kids are growing up and one day really soon, they will not need their mommy as much as they do now! They are sad and happy tears! I am so proud of the young people they are growing into! I know people don't have perfect kids but I promise you mine are so close to it! Just meet them and you will agree!!

I am amazed by my children and all I can say now is.........

I have been getting lectures all night from family members and people from FB, saying that my 12 1/2 year old son is to young for a girlfriend.. In some peoples eyes, this may be true but I don't think that there is anything wrong with him having girlfriend,especially since they have been "dating" since October 2009. The only time they really see each other is at school and an occasional night with parents... They text and talk online! I trust my children, I feel like if I have to give them the chance to be trusted and if for some reason they mess up and I cant trust them anymore,well that's something we will deal with when that time comes! I believe that everyone is entitled to their own opinion and I do "hear"them.. Doesn't mean I have to agree with them! My daughter lives with her dad and has NO life.. She is almost in 10th grade and cant have a bf, cant go to mall with friends or movies with friends. I hate that she has no life... People raise their children in all different ways, I chose to let mine have a GF at almost 13.......

Michael is finishing up his first year in middle school (6th grade)... Last week they did placement testing and I am proud to say that out of 300 6th graders that my son scored the highest score on his math test.. Michael got offered to take 8th grade math with all the 8th graders. I don't know who is more excited, Mommy or Michael... Now he will always be up a grade in Math, When he enters 8th grade he will be taking math with 9th graders and so on...

Michael has always excelled when it came to school work, he carries a book around non stop and loves learning.. I know he didn't get it from his momma!
They tried moving him up from 3rd grade to 5th grade but at the time I wasn't sure he was ready to advance..
Now I am okay with him taking one class with the 8th graders... I gotta let my baby grow up sometime I guess =(

We are back in Kentucky for now, I decided to let the kids finish the school year out and play ball considering I already paid 100 bucks for it.. We have been so busy trying to get stuff packed and even had a yard sale to get rid of the stuff we do not wanna take to Texas with us! We will be back in Texas at the end of July.... Hannah and Spencer's softball/baseball tourneys will be over the 2nd week in July.. So between ball and packing, I am one mega tired momma....

I have been having troubles with migraines alot and I got a script of Maxalt but I just cant afford 260 dollars for 12 pills.. Guess I will just stick to my Excedrin Migraine.....

I sure do miss Texas, it was so quiet and little... I guess I will always be a country girl at heart.....

Tonight was the start of softball season and I must say that fast pitch softball is no joke!! The sluggers won the first game of the season..... 10-9... The surgeon said my mom has an infection in her colon. Put her on 3 abx and pain med. She is starting to feel a little better. She is having exploratory surgery in May to rule out anything to do with her cancer or pollups(sp). Please continue to keep her in your prayers!! Thank you guys for your previous prayers! I am asking for prayers for my mom! She started hurting in her stomach two nights ago, she came to er last nite and her Dr admitted her. Her Dr came in this morning and said the cat scan showed that her intestine around her colon is twisted up,and messing with her blood supply.We are waiting for the surgeon to come in and see what he wants to do! I will update when I know more.......

I have been such a slacker when it comes to blogging. I start to blog and next thing I know, my mind goes blank.. I have so much on my mind and I just don't know how to express it.

We are planning a trip to Texas in April to visit my family. My family and I don't have the best relationships. I have not spoke to my Grandparents in almost 4 years. My mom and I have a rocky past, but it seems like its getting a little better. I know my family doesn't approve of my relationship with Jennifer and that's something you cant force on anyone.. I just wish they would give her a chance..
I am nervous about going to Texas, but I know its good for my kids to be in their grandparents life.. I just hope and pray it goes well.
I know this isn't a long post, I am just blah and at a lost for words.....

I got on Twitter today around 2pm to get the news that Miss Layla Grace had gone to be with the Angels today. My heart broke for her family. I have decided that I am officially over winter.. The snow was beautiful the first time, nice the second time,more the third time and well the 4th time, over it....

I am ready for Spring.. I am ready to see beautiful flowers... I am ready to see Spencer ride his new bike with out his cheeks all chapped and red... I am ready for picnics outside.... I am so ready for winter to be DONE............

but sadly they are calling for more snow early next week =(

Its hard to imagine that my oldest child is about to be 15.I remember the day she was born and now she is 2 months away from getting her driving permit. Where has time gone?? A part of me wishes I could bottle her up and keep her a child forever but the other part of me is amazed that she has grown into this beautiful teenager. Kelsey lives with her dad and I miss her so much.She is not the typical teenager,I am thankful for that..Even though she is not here with me we have the best mother daughter relationship, the best one I could ever ask for!!!

We woke up this morning with the kids having a snow day with NO snow... I was kinda shocked but turned all alarms off and went back to bed.. Finally bout 2pm it started snowing and its still going. Its so pretty..
We are supposed to get up to 6 inches.
So today we; ate, played wii, played online, watched tv, ate again.....
I love lazy fun snow days.....

My 2nd born child, my first son is 12 today. Where has time gone. It really does feel like yesterday he was born and we ventured off to live his first year in Alaska. Michael is so smart, I am so proud of him.. He has grown into this awesome young man..

Its hard to believe that its already November.. Just 4 more days and my second born child will be 12...
It seems as this year has flown by, before you know it, it will be 2010..
This past year has brought so much to my life, Jen and I celebrated our 3 year anniversary. My Oldest child entered her first year of High School and my second child entered his first year of Middle School...
All I can say is WOW, I cant believe its November already....

Kids had an awesome time last nite at our Church's Trunk and Treat. Hannah was a Hula girl and Spencer was a vampire.. Michael ventured to his first middle school Halloween party..
My Kesley Jo spent Halloween with her dad but was a gorgeous cowgirl...

As this year gets close to ending I sit here and think bout how lucky I am to have the people I have in my life.. I have the best children ever. I get told this on a daily basis.. I guess that kids now a days don't always say thank you, yes ma'am, or no ma'am... I am so blessed to have them as my children... I have the best girlfriend ever, 3 years ago I never knew we would be where we are in our life now. She is my complete happiness... Without her I would be lost...

Sorry for rambling but its just been one of those emotional kinda days!!!

Today, I welcome my 4th child and second son into this world... Spencer decided to come early and be the best bday present for his sister..
I remember right in the middle of the birthday song when my water broke, I was really confused, since my water didnt break with my last 3. When I realized what it was, off to hospital I went.. I made sure not to have anything to induce my labor, I wanted him to have his own day and I wanted to enjoy my last labor and delivery.. about six hours after my water broke they decided it was best to induce my labor cuz I was group b pos.I finally agreed about 2 am.. My contractions started around 245 am, I begged for Epi ( sorry guys after hannah natrual, it wasnt the way for me to go) they tried and tried to stick me, finally after about 4 times they got it, just long enough for me to sit up and feel the urge to push, before I knew it my baby boy was being born and I had another natural child birth....
I welcomed my biggest baby of all * funny he is so lil now* weighing in at 8 pounds 140z...
My family was complete with my 2 girls and 2 boys......

Today, I welcomed my 3rd child, my second daughter to this world, and boy was she ready to meet me... After 11 days past her due date and only 2 hrs of labor from start to stop ( no pain meds or epi), My Hannah Lynn came screaming with a full set of lungs....

Its hard to beleive that my baby has hit double digits.. She is growing up and before I know it will be moving out ( maybe when she is like 30 something)

Happy Birthday Hannah Lynn............. I am so proud to have you as my daughter...............
